Fatal traffic accident in Tuen Mun

Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 32-year-old man was killed in Tuen Mun last night (July 28).

At 10.02 pm yesterday, two private cars driven by a 39-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man respectively were travelling along the second and third lane of Tuen Mun Road towards Yuen Long.

While reaching Tuen Mun Road near the junction with San Tak Street, the first car reportedly knocked down the 32-year-old man who was crossing the road. The man was then bounced to the third lane and hit the second vehicle.

Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was rushed to the Tuen Mun Hospital where he was certified dead at 11.21pm on the same day.

The case will be taken over by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North.
