Fatal Traffic Accident in Ngau Tau Kok

Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 54-year-old man was killed in Ngau Tau Kok this morning (July 23).

At about 11.41 am, a taxi driven by the 54-year-old man was travelling along westbound Eastern Road. The vehicle reportedly lost control and fell into a roadworks near a lampost in the vcinity.

After the incident, the driver was found unconscious and was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 12.18 pm.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team, Traffic, Kowloon East are proceeding.
