Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Wong Tai Sin

Police appealed for information from members of the public on a traffic accident occurred in Wong Tai Sin on July 4 in which a 50-year-old woman was seriously injured and later died in hospital.

At around 2.10 pm, a bus driven by a 42-year-old man was travelling along Choi Hung Road towards Kowloon City. Upon reaching near Rhythm Garden, it reportedly knocked down by the 50-year-old woman who dashed out from the pavement.

Sustaining serious head injuries, the woman was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where she was certified dead at 2.05 pm on July 5.

Investigations by Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East are underway.
