Fatal traffic accident in Tsing Yi
Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in which a 37-year-old man was killed in Tsing Yi this (June 24) morning.
At about 11.05 pm, a light goods vehicle driven by a 44-year-old man was travelling along Tsing Yi Road West towards Sai Tso Wan. When it reached near Cheung Hang Estate, it reportedly knocked down the 37-year-old man who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital where he was certified dead at 2.52 pm.
Investigations will be taken over by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South.
