Appeal for information on serious traffic accident in Tai Po
Police appealed to members of the public to provide information on a traffic accident in which three persons were injured in Tai Po today (June 8).
At about 3.35 pm, a private car driven by a 48-year-old man was traveling along Yuen Shin Road towards Tai Mei Tuk. Upon reaching the road junction with Ting Kok Road, it reportedly collided with a light goods vehicle (LGV) traveling along Ting Kok Road towards Tai Po Industrial Estate.
Sustaining injuries, the 27-year-old LGV male driver and a 13-year-old private car female passenger were sent to Prince of Wales Hospital while a 27-year-old female LGV passenger was rushed to Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Hospital for treatment.
Investigations by the Accident Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are proceeding.
