Fatal traffic accident in Tuen Mun
Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 21-year-old man was killed in Tuen Mun this (May 14) morning.
Shortly after 6.20 am, a motorcycle driven by a 21-year-old was travelling along Wong Chu Road towards Tsing Wan Road. While making a right turn to Tsing Wan Road, the motorcycle lost control and sideturned to its left side. The driver was thrown out of the vehicle into a nearby grassland and hit a road barrier.
Sustaining serious injuries to his abdomen, the motorcyclist was rushed to the Tuen Mun Hospital where he was certified dead at 7 am.
Investigations will be taken over by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic New Territories North.
