Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan
Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 49-year-old man was injured in Cheung Sha Wan on May 3 and was certified dead on the next day.
At about 9.35 pm on May 3, a public light bus driven by a 27-year-old man was travelling along northbound West Kowloon Corridor. While reaching near Lai Chi Kok Road, it reportedly knocked down the 49-year-old man who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious head injury, the man was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital where he was certified dead at 6.07 pm on May 4.
Investigations by Special Investigation Team of Traffic Kowloon West are proceeding.
