Fatal traffic accident in Tin Sum

Police are investigating a fatal crash in Tin Sum this afternoon (May 5) in which a 43-year-old man was killed.

At around 2.10 pm, Police received a report that a private car rammed the road kerb on the Kowloon bound carriageway of Tate's Cairn Highway near Shatin Hospital.

Paramedics sped to the scene and found the 43-year-old male driver in a coma. He was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital where he was certified dead at 3.03 pm.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South are proceeding.
