Appeal for information on missing girl (with photo)

Police today (April 10) appealed to members of the public for information on the whereabouts of a girl who went missing since October 2006.

So Ka-yan, aged 15, has failed to return to her hostel in Kowloon City since October 9, 2006. The staff member of the hostel made a report to the Police on the same day.

Standing about 1.6 metres and weighing about 45.5 kilograms, she has a round face, yellow complexion and straight long black hair.

She was last seen wearing a yellow short-sleeve T-shirt, a pair of blue short jeans and a pair of white shoes.

Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the missing girl is urged to contact the Regional Missing Person Unit of Hong Kong Island at 2860 1041 or 2860 1045.
