Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Stanley
Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 62-year-old man was injured in Stanley on March 26 and was certified dead on March 27.
At about 5.35pm on March 26, the deceased was driving a taxi along Tai Tam Road towards Stanley. When it reached near No. 9-45 Tai Tam Road, it reportedly collided with a light goods vehicle on the opposite lane driven by a 33-year-old man.
Sustaining serious injury, the taxi driver was rushed to Queen Mary Hospital where he was certified dead at 8.25pm on March 27.
Investigations by Special Investigation Team of Traffic Hong Kong Island are proceeding.
