Appeal for information on serious traffic accident in Sham Shui Po
Police are investigating a traffic accident in Sham Shui Po yesterday (March 22) afternoon during which an 80-year-old man was seriously injured.
At about 2.25 pm, a bicycle was reportedly travelling along eastbound Tai Hang Sai Street. While approaching the junction with Tai Hang Tung Road, it knocked down an 80-year-old man who was crossing the road. The bicycle left the scene after the accident.
Sustaining injuries, the man was rushed to the Caritas Medical Centre and later transferred to Kwong Wah Hospital for medical treatment. He is now admitted in critical condition.
Investigations by the Accident Investigation Team, Traffic, Kowloon West are proceeding.
