Tuen Mun traffic accident claims three lives

Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in which a male private car driver and his two passengers were killed in Tuen Mun today (February 21).

At about 6.30 pm, a private car driven by a 36-year-old man with his 34-year-old wife and three-month-old son onboard was travelling along the middle lane of Tuen Mun Road towards the New Territories. Upon reaching near Siu Lam, it reportedly lost control and rammed a kerb on the left.

Sustaining serious injuries, the driver and his two passengers were rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital where the female passenger was certified dead at 7.18 pm, the baby boy at 7.21 pm and the driver at 8.52 pm.

Investigations will be taken over by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North.
