Appeal for information on serious traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan

Police today (February 11) appealed to the public to provide information on a traffic accident in which a 62-year-old woman was injured in Cheung Sha Wan yesterday.

At about 11.15am on February 10, a medium goods vehicle was travelling along eastbound Cheung Shun Street. When it reached the junction with Cheung Lai Street, it reportedly knocked down a 62-year-old woman who was crossing the road.

The unknown medium goods vehicle, the front of which was red-coloured and the body was in green, fled towards Sham Shui Po direction after the accident.

After the impact, the woman was rushed to Caritas Medial Centre for medical treatment and is now in critical condition.

Investigations by the Accident Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West are proceeding.
