Missing person's body located

The body of a 42-year-old man who was reported missing last month on Lantau Island was located today (February 4) morning.

Lo Si-fai, aged 42, left his residence in Hung Hom at about 7 am on January 28 and failed to return home since then.

Police initial enquiries believed that he might have gone to Ngong Ping area in Lantau for hiking alone on that day. His family members later lost contact with him and made a report to Police on January 29.

His body was located at Dou Ron Rock of Fung Wong Shan on Lantau Island at about 11am this morning.

The man was certified dead at scene and no suspicious circumstances were detected.
