Update on fatal traffic accident in Kowloon City

Police tonight (January 8) arrested a 48-year-old man, a public light bus driver, for dangerous driving causing death following initial investigation into a traffic accident in which a six-year-old girl was killed in Kowloon City this morning.

After the accident, the girl was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital where she was certified dead at 12.30 pm

The driver was released on Police bail of $5,000 and has to report back on February 8.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team, Traffic, Kowloon West are underway.
