Fatal traffic accident in Mong Kok
Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in which an 80-year-old woman was killed in Mong Kok this morning (December 6).
At about 7.20 am, a bus driven by a 49-year-old man was travelling along southbound Sai Yee Street. When the vehicle turned right into Argyle Street, it reportedly knocked down the 80-year-old woman who was crossing the road.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the woman was certified dead by paramedics at the scene.
Investigations will be taken over by Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West.
