Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Sheung Shui

Police today (November 25) appealed to the public to provide information on a traffic accident in which a man was killed in Sheung Shui today.

At about 11.35am, a bus driven by a 33-year-old woman was travelling along the slow lane of Tin Ping Road towards Lung Sum Avenue. When the bus reached the junction with Lung Sum Avenue, the driver reportedly knocked down a man who was crossing the road.

After the impact, the man was sent to North District Hospital and was certified dead at 12.34pm.

The deceased was about 35 to 40 years old, 1.75 to 1.8 metres tall, strong-built and had long black hair. He was wearing a light blue T-shirt, a pair of short black pants and a pair of white sports shoes.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are proceeding.
