Fatal traffic accident in Tin Shui Wai
Police are investigating a traffic accident in Tin Shui Wai today (November 6) in which a 58-year-old man was killed.
Shortly before 9.35am, a container truck driven by a 58-year-old man reversed up a ramp road inside a godown on Kiu Wong Street for unloading goods. The driver alighted from the vehicle after parking. Suddenly, the container truck reportedly skidded forward. The driver attempted to rush back to the cab but was trapped between the truck and the wall.
Rescued by firemen, the driver was rushed to the Tuen Mun Hospital where he was certified dead at 10.16am.
Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North are proceeding.
