Appeal for information on missing woman (with photo)

Police today (November 2) appealed to members of the public to provide information on the whereabouts of a woman who went missing in Tin Shui Wai.

Ng Mei-ling, aged 36, left the hostel in Wang Toi Shan, Yuen Long, in the morning on October 31 and failed to return ever since. She was last seen appearing outside the sheltered workshop in Tin Chak Estate and the person-in-charge of the hostel made a report to Police on the same day.

She stands about 1.6 metres, weighs about 81 kilograms and is of fat build. She has a round face and short black hair. She was last seen wearing a blue coat, white T-shirt and a pair of blue jeans.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the missing woman is urged to contact the Regional Missing Persons Unit of New Territories North on 2666 4499.
