Appeal for information on murder in Hung Hom (with photos)
Police today (October 28) appealed to members of the public to provide information on a murder case in which a man was stabbed to death in Hung Hom yesterday (October 27).
At about 11 pm yesterday, Police received a report and located a man with stab wounds on his body lying inside a park near Whampoa Garden Phase 9.
He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was certified dead at 11.21 pm on the same day.
Post mortem conducted today on the deceased revealed that he died of loss of blood with a fatal stab wound to his internal organ.
No identity document was found on the deceased. The deceased, aged about 30, was about 1.61 meters in height, of thin build, had a pointed face, short hair, thick lips, crooked teeth, and a plaster was found on his left cheek bone near the left eye corner
He was wearing a beige or light yellow colour short sleeves T-shirt, a pair of blue jeans and a pair of hiking type sports shoes when found.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information on the identity of the deceased is urged to contact the investigating officer at 2760 5507 or any Police Station.
Regional Crime Unit of Kowloon West is now investigating the case.
