Fatal traffic accident in Sheung Shui
Police appealed to members of the public for information on a traffic accident occurred in Sheung Shui early this (September 21) morning in which a 73-year-old-woman was killed.
At about 6 am, Police received a report that a woman was knocked down by a taxi travelling on Castle Peak Road heading for Lok Ma Chau near Kwu Tung. The taxi did not stop after the accident.
The woman sustained serious head injuries and was certified dead by ambulancemen arrived at the scene.
Investigations will be taken over by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North.
