Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Wong Tai Sin

Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 60-year-old woman was killed in Wong Tai Sin today (September 20).

Shortly before 11.30 am, a medium goods vehicle (MGV) driven by a 60-year-old man was travelling along northbound Sam Chuk Street. When it reached near Tai Yau Street, it reportedly knocked down the woman who was crossing Sam Chuk Street.

Sustaining serious injuries, the woman was rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital where she was certified dead at 12.03 am.

Investigations by Special Investigation Team, Traffic, Kowloon East are proceeding.
