Fatal traffic accident in Sham Shui Po

Police are investigating a traffic accident in which a 42-year-old man was killed in Sham Shui Po this (September 11) morning.

At about 10.30 am, a medium goods vehicle was stationed outside 210 Tung Chau Street. A 42-year-old man, the delivery worker, who stood at the left side of the medium goods vehicle was reportedly knocked down by a light goods vehicle travelling along eastbound Tung Chau Street.

The light goods vehicle did not stop and run away after knocking down the man.

Sustaining serious head injuries, the man was rushed to Caritas Medical Centre where he was certified dead at 7 pm.

Investigation has been taken over by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West.
