Appeal for information on indecent assault

Police today (September 8) appealed to victims of indecent assault cases who have not made a report to the Police to come forward.

The appeal was made following the arrest of two boys aged 12 and 13 for indecent assault lastnight (September 7) in Butterfly Estate and Wu King Estate in Tuen Mun respectively.

After investigations into two indecent assault cases occurred in Butterfly Estate on September 4 and 5, officers of Tuen Mun District Crime Squad made the arrests lastnight.

In both cases, two girls aged nine and six were grabbed behind in a residental building in Butterfly Estate and then dragged to the stairwell where they were indecently assaulted.

The duo was released on bail pending further enquiries.

Police urge anyone who was indecently assaulted but have not yet made a report to contact the investigating officers at 2456 5355 or 2456 5200.
