Appeal for information on missing man (with photo)
Police today (September 6) appealed to members of the public for information on the whereabouts of a Japanese man who went missing in June.
The missing Japanese man Iwasawa Takeshi, aged 36, arrived Hong Kong in the afternoon on June 19 and his family members have lost contact with him since then. Police received a report on August 18.
Standing about 1.8 metres and weighing about 70 kilograms, he is of fat built. He has a round face with yellow complexion and has short black hair.
Police urge anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the missing man to contact investigating officers of Regional Missing Person Unit, Hong Kong Island on 2860 1045 or any police station.
