Men charged with conspiracy to commit theft
Police today (August 26) charged seven men, aged between 23 and 39, jointly with one count of conspiracy to commit theft.
At about 2 pm on August 24, officers of the Regional Crime Unit of New Territories South intercepted a medium goods vehicle (MGV) and arrested seven men in a godown on Tan Kwai Tsuen Road in Yuen Long. During the operation, some $8 million worth of different types of electronics components were found inside the stolen MGV.
The seven men will appear in the Tsuen Wan Magistrates' Courts on Monday (August 28).
