Appeal for information on missing girl (with photo)

Police today (August 23) appealed to members of the public to provide information on the whereabouts of a girl who went missing in Wong Tai Sin.

Li Mei-yan, aged 14, left her home in Choi Wan Estate on May 24 and failed to return ever since.Her father made a report to Police on May 31.

She stands about 1.55 metres, weighs about 40 kilograms and is of thin build.She has a long face and long black hair.She was last seen wearing a red T-shirt with Mickey Mouse pattern and a pair of trousers.

Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the missing girl is urged to contact the Regional Missing Persons Unit of Kowloon East at 2703 2335, or inform any police station.
