Wounding and suicide in Ho Man Tin
Police are investigating a wounding and suicide case in which a 52 year-old man plunged to death while his 48-year-old wife and 11-year-old daughter were injured in Ho Man Tin early this (July 25) morning.
Shortly before 6.30 am, Police received reports that a woman and a girl were injured inside a unit in Tun Man House of Oi Man Estate while a man had fallen from height.
Police officers immediately arrived at the scene and found the woman and her daughter both injured inside their home in Tun Man House. Cut wound was found on the chin of the woman while multiple cut wounds were found on the girl's body. A knife was also located inside the flat.
The man, with cut wound on his neck, was found lying unconscious outside the ground floor of Tun Man House.
Police initial enquiries revealed that the couple had a dispute earlier this morning.
All the injured persons were rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where the 52-year-old man was certified dead at 7.13 am.
A post-mortem will be conducted later to ascertain the cause of death of the deceased.
Investigations by District Crime Squad of Kowloon City are underway.
