Special traffic arrangements for public procession

Police will implement special traffic arrangements in Kowloon West to facilitate a public procession to be held tomorrow (July 16).

The procession will be held from 2.30 pm to 5 pm and the procession party will leave Maple Street Playground and pass through westbound Maple Street, northbound Yu Chau Street, eastbound Wong Chuk Street, eastbound Cheung Sha Wan Road, southbound Nathan Road, westbound Jordan Road, southbound Canton Road and finish at the Star Ferry in Tsim Sha Tsui.

The procession party will use the fast lanes along the route. The middle lanes will be a buffer zone while the slow lanes will remain for the use of other motorists.

Traffic will only be stopped upon the arrival of the procession party and temporary road closures and traffic diversions will be implemented as and when necessary.

Motorists are advised to take heed of the instructions given by the Traffic Police in all the affected areas.
