Appeal for information on murder in Tuen Mun

Police appealed to public for information on a murder in which a woman was found dead in Tuen Mun this (June 29) morning.

Shortly after 8.45 am, Police received a report that a body was found near a kiosk at Tuen Mun East Service Reservoir.

Responding to the call, Police officers sped to the scene found a woman body near a rocky path besides the kiosk. She was certified dead by ambulancemen at scene.

Initial examination revealed that the deceased was in her thirties. Several wounds believed to be caused by hard object were found on her head, forehead, left ear, left neck, chin and abdomen.

A post-mortem on the deceased will be conducted tomorrow (June 30) morning to ascertain the cause of her death.

Investigations by the Regional Crime Unit of New Territories North are proceeding.
