Appeal for information on fatal traffic accident in Yau Ma Tei
Police appealed to the public to provide information on a traffic accident in which a 67-year-old man was killed in Yau Ma Tei this (June 25) morning.
Shortly after 8.45 am, a light goods vehicle driven by a 33-year-old man was travelling along westbound Waterloo Road. When it turned right into the northbound carriageway of Ferry Street, it reportedly knocked down the 67-year-old man who was pushing a trolley along the road.
Sustaining serious injuries to his head and legs, the man was rushed to Kwong Wah Hospital where he was certified dead at 11.03 am.
The case will be taken over by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West.
