Appeal for information on missing man (with photo)

Police today (June 17) appealed to the public to provide information on the whereabouts of a man who went missing in Wong Tai Sin.

The missing man Chiu Soon, aged 83, failed to return to his home on Hammer Hill Road since early yesterday (June 16) morning. His son made a report to the Police at noon on the same day.

Standing about 1.55 metres and weighing about 48 kilograms, he is of medium build, has a long face with a dark mole on his left face, short white hair and fair complexion.

He was last seen wearing a white short-sleeved T-shirt, a pair of black trousers and a pair of brown slippers. He carried no identity document with him.

Police urge anyone who has information on the whereabouts of Mr Chiu Soon to contact the Regional Missing Person Unit of Kowloon East at 2703 2323 or any Police station.
