Appeal for information on dead body found in Happy Valley
Police today (June 6) appealed to the public for information on a dead body found in Happy Valley on June 3.
At about 12.20 pm on June 3, Police received a report that a dead body was found lying in a subway of Wong Nai Chung Road near Hong Kong Jockey Club, Happy Valley.
The deceased, a man aged about 60, stood about 1.65 metres and weighed about 68 kilograms and he was of thin build. He was wearing a black short sleeves T-shirt, black jeans and a pair of black leather shoes
A Hong Kong Identity Card bearing the name of Chung Pi was found in the trouser pocket of the deceased and it was believed that he was a street sleeper.
No suspicious circumstances were detected in the initial enquiries.
Police urge anyone who knows his identity or has any information to offer to contact investigating officers of Miscellaneous Enquiry Sub Unit of Happy Valley on 2835 5209 or report room of Happy Valley Police Station on 2835 5200.
