Fatal traffic accident in Causeway Bay

Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in which a 28-year-old man was killed in Causeway Bay this (April 11) morning.

At about 9.33am, a westbound tram driven by a 50-year-old female driver knocked down a male pesdestrian who was crossing the road at 120 Causeway Road, Causeway Bay.

After the impact, the 28-year-old man was rushed to Queen Mary Hospital and was certified dead at 1.06pm.

Investigations by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island are proceeding.
