Special traffic arrangements for Tin Hau Festival

Police will implement special traffic arrangements between April 8 and May 15 to facilitate the celebration of Tin Hau Festival.

A) Road Closure

1. A section of Tai Au Mun Road between Clear Water Bay Second Beach Carpark and Po Toi O Chuen Road will temporarily be closed to vehicular traffic from 8 am to 6 pm on April 8, 9, 14 to 17 and from 7 am on April 19 to 5 pm on April 20, except vehicles with permits.

2. The inner lane of eastbound Cha Kwo Ling Road between Wing Fook Street and Yau Tong Road will be closed between 8 am and 5 pm on April 20.

3. A section of Yi Chun Street between Nin Chun Street and Man Nin Street will be closed from 8 am on April 24 to 8 pm on May 15. Traffic from Yi Chun Street heading for Man Nin Street will be diverted to Nin Chun Street northward, while the section of Man Nin Street between Nin Chin Street and Yi Chun Street will be designated to two-way traffic.

B) Temporary Public Light Bus Service

A temporary public light bus service route No.16 will be operated at the Clearwater Bay Second Beach Carpark to provide services for worshippers travelling between Clearwater Bay Second Beach Carpark and Po Toi O Chuen from 8 am to 6 pm on April 8, 9, 14 to 17 and from 7 am on April 19 to 5 pm on April 20.

C) Suspension of Parking Spaces

1. A total of 49 parking spaces of Clear Water Bay Second Beach Carpark, and 10 parking spaces near Clear Water Bay Golf and Country Club entrance will be suspended from 8 am to 6 pm on April 8, 9, 14 to 17 and from 7 am on April 19 to 5 pm on April 20.

2. On-street parking spaces on Man Nin Street, Yi Chun Street and 18 numbers of goods vehicle parking spaces at Po Tung Road Carpark will also be suspended from 8 am on April 24 to 8 pm on May 15.

D) Taxi and Public Light Bus Stands

The taxi stand and public light bus stand on Yi Chun Street will be relocated to Po Tung Road Carpark and Man Nin Street near Sai Kung Hoi Pong respectively from 8 am on April 24 to 8 pm on May 15.
