Appeal for information on missing woman

Police today (March 29) appealed for information on a woman who went missing in Sheung Shui last week.

The 79-year-old woman Lam Yu-wo has failed to return to her home in Choi Yuen Estate since March 25. Her family member made a report to the Police on March 27.

Standing about 1.4 metres and weighing about 55 kilograms, Lam has short greyish hair, a round face, with yellow complexion and is of medium build. She was carrying a green bag and an umbrella when missing.

Initial enquiries revealed that she likes to frequent in the vicinity of Choi Yuen Estate, Choi Po Court and North District Park in Sheung Shui.

Anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the missing woman is urged to contact the Regional Missing Persons Unit of New Territories North on 2666 4499 or report to any police station.
