Appeal for information on dead body found in Sai Kung
Police appealed to the public for information on a dead body found in Sai Kung this (March 26) morning.
At about 10.44 am, Police received a report that a body was found floating off Tit Cham Chau. Marine Police arrived at the scene and retrieved the body which was later confirmed to be a female body aged about 60.
Standing about 1.52 metres, the deceased is of thin build. She has a pointed face, short black hair and a mole on the left of her nose. The deceased was wearing a brown coat, a pair of white trousers, a pantihose, a black shoe in her left feet and a watch on her left hand when discovered. No identity document of the deceased was found at scene.
Initial examinations revealed that bruise marks were found on her forehand, her waist and the back of her right hand. There was also a cut wound at the back of her head.
A post-mortem will be conducted tomorrow (March 27) to ascertain the cause of her death. The case will be taken over by District Crime Squad of Wong Tai Sin.
