Appeal for information on vessel collision off Sai Wan Ho Pier
Police today (February 27) appealed to members of the public to provide information on a vessel collision case off Sai Wan Ho Pier on February 22 morning.
Police received a report at about 8.25 am, an oil barge collided into a fishing vessel off Sai Wan Ho Pier. As a result, a 64-year-old man on board the fishing vessel died while another 36-year-old man on the same vessel sustained injuries and was sent to the Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital for treatment.
Investigations by District Crime Squad of Marine Port are proceeding.
