First aid services for PTU trainees
The team, consisting of eight qualified instructors, have completed an extensive Basic Trauma Life Support Course organised by the Hospital Authority.
The team is equipped to provide treatment to officers suffering from severe trauma to unconsciousness.
Transport Branch is now assisting PTU HQ to modify a van to meet the special requirements of the first aid team. The new vehicle is expected to be in operation by mid-May.
