Photo time for the SMP course participants

Almost 300 youngsters participated in the Youth Fight Crime cum Environmental Protection Ambassadors Training Programme organised by Sau Mau Ping District on June 2.

The half-day course, held at Ko Lui Secondary School, aimed to arouse their concern for the community through the study of juvenile and computer crimes and street fraud.

The study was accompanied by a talk on environmental protection.

Each participant was presented a certificate upon completion of the training and started their ambassador roles immediately, distributing messages to the public. Some 40 Fight Crime Leaders also participated in the programme.

Officiating guests included SMP District Commander Anthony Au Yiu-kwan, Kwun Tong Assistant District Officer Au Chung-pak and District Fight Crime Committee Chairman Fung Kam-chiu.
