The Police Sailing Club (PSC) sent more than 20 members to take part in the 24 Hour Charity Dinghy Race organised by Hebe Haven Yacht Club between October 19 and 20. 37 participating dinghies were divided into four groups and the competition commenced at Pak Sha Wan. With their dedicated efforts, the PSC team placed sixth overall and fourth in the RS Quest group eventually. The participating regular and auxiliary officers also mobilised their family members and friends to raise funds, with nearly $9 000 donated to various organisations.
PSC Chairman Justin Shave was satisfied with the team’s performance. He thanked the athletes and executive committee members for their dedication to the event, as well as the donors for their sponsorship.
