Senior Superintendent (Digital Policing Services) of Information Systems Wing Swalikh Mohammed and his team were invited to attend an information technology (IT) seminar organised by Yau Tsim District (YTDIST) on October 23 to brief officers on how the Force’s IT systems enhanced digital public engagement and supported frontline officers. He elaborated on the application of AI to speed up digital transformation of services to internal and external users. Moreover, he introduced the Force’s IT road map and detailed how big data, cloud and other innovative technologies boosted the Force’s productivity in alignment with the Force’s Strategic Directions and the government’s vision on building a Smart City.


Following the presentation, the team engaged in discussion with the frontline officers to gather their feedback for further improving existing IT systems. The seminar facilitated candid exchange between both sides for enhancing user experience and improving overall system functionality.
