The Force Tender Committee (FTC) is responsible for the award of store and service contracts which are acquired through tender procedures with procurement value between $1.36 million and $10 million. To enhance the procurement efficiency of formations, the Stores Management Division (SMD) of Finance Wing organised a briefing at the Police Headquarters on June 7 to introduce the operation procedures of FTC and tender process. Around 160 officers from various Districts attended. With case examples for illustration, SMD and FTC representatives shared some common irregularities observed in the tender reports and replied to the officers’ questions. All participants found the briefing resourceful and practical.

The presentation materials of the briefing have been uploaded to the SMD webpage on POINT for reference. Procuring formations shall observe the relevant guidelines stipulated in Headquarters Order No. 1/2024 for submission of tender report to FTC for consideration.
