The Police Band conducted a Music Touch engagement at Jordan Valley St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School on June 20. The event marked the 100th school visit of the programme. The band performed several musical pieces, introduced the band’s history and ran interactive Q&A sessions. The students participated actively throughout the event and the school management remarked that the event not only broadened the school members’ musical knowledge, but also facilitated the connection and interaction between the Force and the community.

Since its inception in 2016, Music Touch has worked with police districts to visit primary, secondary and special schools across the territory to strengthen students’ understanding of policing work.

Apart from sharing music knowledge, the Police Band also disseminates anti-scam messages to the students.
