The Rotary Club of Kowloon Golden Mile (Rotary Club KGM) presented Excellence Vocational Awards to 15 police officers on June 12 in recognition of their bravery, devotion to duty and professionalism displayed in pursuing suspects, rescuing missing persons at high risks, saving citizens from attempting suicide and evacuating elderly people trapped by extreme weather. Director of Operations Chan Tung and other senior commanding officers attended the presentation ceremony to share the joy with the awardees.

Since 2001, Rotary Club KGM presents Excellence Vocational Awards annually to officers of the Force, Fire Services Department and organisations in the medical field to appreciate their outstanding service and contribution to the community. This year, 132 frontline police, fire-services and ambulance officers are awarded.
