Chief Superintendent of Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB) Lam Cheuk-ho led an eight-member delegation to Beijing between February 20 and 23 to visit the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) and the headquarters of some technology enterprises.


The delegation first visited the Cyber Security Bureau and Criminal Investigation Bureau of MPS to exchange views on the cyber security, trends of cybercrime and strategies of countermeasures in both places, as well as sharing work experience mutually. The delegation also paid visits to the headquarters of five technology enterprises that provided advanced technology and cyber security service to meet their managerial staff for gaining insights into their cutting-edge technologies and having in-depth discussion regarding enhancement of the Force’s capabilities in handling cyber security incidents, investigating technology crimes and extracting digital forensic evidence.
