Commissioner Siu Chak-yee exchanged ideas with 28 Police Mentorship Programme (PMP) winter interns from local, mainland and overseas tertiary institutions at the Senior Officers’ Mess on February 19.
The Commissioner and the mentees had in-depth discussion on different topics, including youth engagement, police publicity, recruitment campaigns, anti-deception suggestions and PMP development. He also shared his experience and job satisfaction gained from his service at different postings throughout his career. In the meantime, he encouraged the mentees to seize every learning opportunity and brave every challenge encountered at work after graduation. The mentees said that they were deeply inspired by the Commissioner and would strive to better equip themselves for joining the Force and serving the society in the near future.
