The Police Band visited three schools, namely Cheung Chuk Shan College, TWGHs Tseng Hin Pei Primary School and Yuen Long Merchants Association Secondary School, to launch Music Touch, a music exchange activity, between December 5, 2023 and January 19, 2024, aiming to increase students’ understanding of police work and values. The Police Band performed a series of classic songs, introduced the band’s history and conducted Q&A sessions. With active participation of the students, the teachers and students stated that the event not only increased their music knowledge but also enhanced the connection between the Force and the community.

The outreaching Music Touch has been collaborating with various Districts since 2016 to visit secondary, primary and special schools and organise different activities. The Police Band will keep working closely with schools in various districts to help cultivate positive values among youngsters.
