Superintendent of Emergency Unit of New Territories North (EU NTN) Leung Chi-hang is a student of the first cohort of the Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) Programme jointly organised by the Police College and Tsinghua University. After winning the national championship in the Sixth China Graduate Case Contest on Public Administration, the Hong Kong Rural Revitalisation Team formed by Leung Chi-hang and four postgraduate students of Tsinghua University stood out again in the national and international contests and earned The Star of Innovative Practice 2022 and Best Case Award in Global Solicitation on Best Poverty Reduction Practices respectively. Their case study was also captured in the international knowledge sharing platform of poverty reduction, which contributed to addressing poverty globally.
