Three representatives of the Police Judo Club (PJC) participated in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) Judo Championship held in Guangzhou on October 28, 2023. More than 500 judo lovers joined the competition. Chief Inspector Lau Ka-yip and Sergeant Leung Yiu-ting won a bronze and silver medal respectively, while Sergeant Chan Wai-cheung was granted the sportsmanship award.

PJC Chairman Lau Ka-yip pointed out that the PJC members demonstrated consistent tenacity even though it was the first time they competed in the high-level championship. They also promoted cultural exchange among the GBA through the championship. PJC conducts training at Police Sports and Recreation Club from 7pm to 10pm every Tuesday and Friday.
